Established in 1993 as Romar Commodities, Inc. (“RCI”), RCI was originally a local trading outfit for pollard and molasses.

Built by Romeo S. Angeles, who had over 30 years experience in the agricultural trading and commodities markets after working for top global commodity traders such as, Cargill, Toepfer,etc.

Romarcom started to indent bulk soft commodities in vessels in the mid 1990’s. After the bulk trade opportunities, Romarcom entered into the containerized business in the early 2000’s through the introduction of DDGS and US Soybean Meal in containers into the Philippines.

Throughout the years, Romarcom has constantly increased its ingredient portfolio and has established its niche as brokers for both in the bulk and containerized market serving the entire Philippine archipelago.

At present, Romarcom is the largest commodity indent team in the Philippines and remains to be the preferred broker of both Philippine customers and global suppliers because of our deep understanding of the market, speed and professionalism
